Description
Wearing a belt allows you to walk, run or ski with your dog without having to hold their line in your hand. The Trekking belt 2.0 is designed to be comfortable and take stress off your back, as the pull force is distributed over a large area. The padding is thick, soft and lightweight.
Your dog’s leash attaches to a hook in front. The Trekking belt 2.0 is equipped with leg straps to help keep the belt in position. The leg straps are removable.
Dog waste bags and other light items can be attached to the two attachment loops. If more storage is needed, the Trekking belt 2.0 can be expanded with a Belt bag (bought separately).
3M™ reflective piping and reflective print provide visibility on dark nights and overcast days.

HOW DO I ATTACH MY DOG’S LEASH TO THE TREKKING BELT 2.0?
If you want to be able to easily release the leash, simply put the leash on the open hook. For more security, thread the leash through the D-ring first, then put it on the hook. Do not attach the leash directly to the D-ring only, as it is not designed to hold the dog on its own.
HOW SHOULD THE TREKKING BELT 2.0 SIT?
Despite often being referred to as “waist belts”, belts made for hiking, running and skiing with dogs should sit low in order to distribute the force over your hips and bum. If the belt sits too high, you risk back pain and other injuries. We recommend that you use the leg straps attached to your belt. These straps will prevent your belt from sliding out of position.
HOW DO I ATTACH THE BELT BAG TO MY BELT?
On the back of the Belt bag there is a tunnel pocket. Simply slide your belt through the tunnel pocket to attach the Belt bag to your Ferd belt or Trekking belt 2.0.
WHICH BELT SHOULD I CHOOSE?
The Trekking belt 2.0 is a versatile, allround belt suitable for activities like hiking, running and skiing with dogs. If you are specializing in any of these activities, you might consider buying a belt designed for your favorite activity, as different activities demand different features from your gear. You can learn more about how to choose the right belt in this guide.
