Description
In unpredictable weather, we always bring a packable shell jacket for safety. Nothing similar existed for dogs, even though they also need protection in rough conditions. That is why we decided to develop a dog jacket so light and packable you are likely to bring it on all your adventures.
The Trail light dog jacket weighs 29 grams (size 50), and packs into an internal stuff pocket.
Dog musher Dallas Seavey helped us test this ultralight dog jacket to the limit in Alaska, to make sure it protects your dog against freezing winds. The Trail light dog jacket also has a 10.000 mm waterproof rating and excellent breathability for comfort in all conditions.
The design is simple, but functional. The stretch mesh in front not only serves as a stuff pocket, but also allows your dog to move freely. Leg straps help keep the dog jacket in the right position and prevent it from lifting in high winds. The Trail light dog jacket is designed to fit your dog well and protect the large muscle groups. Reflective details provide high visibility in the dark as well as on overcast days.
The Trail light dog jacket is available in sizes 30-70, in the color gray. It fits perfectly with the Trail light jacket for humans; the world’s lightest waterproof jacket.

Measure the length of your dog’s back from between the shoulder blades to the base of its tail and follow the size table for optimum fit. Watch the video posted next to our size-finder tool if you are unsure how to measure. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the bigger size.

The Trail light dog jacket offers protection in light showers with a 10.000 mm waterproof rating. Taped seams help keep your dog dry. To remain waterproof, the jacket should be treated with a waterproofing formula or spray at least once a year.
HOW WARM IS THE TRAIL LIGHT DOG JACKET?
The Trail light dog jacket is a shell jacket that will protect your dog against wind and rain, but it is not insulated for warmth. However, the ultralight design means that the jacket will lie on top of your dog’s coat without pushing it down, maintaining the coat’s natural insulating abilities.
WHICH ACTIVITIES ARE THE TRAIL LIGHT JACKET SUITABLE FOR?
This dog jacket was developed to be an emergency jacket for trail running and sled dogs, but is suitable for any activity in unpredictable weather, such as hiking, biking and skiing.
